I can’t bare
What was borne from me
This wears me
Like an old winter coat
I’ll stare at this wall
Until it stares back at me
Until it engages me in conversation
So many years
To tally idle chores
Like hygiene rituals
And folding laundry
All I have is my broken teeth
To mouth words to my hologram peers
Walls bars and semantically free time
Things that are desolate
So much time accounted for
Only by the light switch turning off and on.
I pray to god I choke on my memories of freedom.
