dead ones

I said a couldn’t take my eyes away
You were too slow and sweet
To remove a doubt that was true
I don’t like to glow in that way
That reminds me I’ll never be yours
Such a deadening makes me bleed
I don’t want this shame you birthed
You were all I never wanted to be
So many subtle skies that sing nothing songs

Don’t shame me for your selfish demise.
